So l've got a question for the experts here is the explosion in China due to the fact they didn't go through the Omnicron wave like we did?
If that's the case that proves the point that their zero covid approach doesn't work It's better to ride it out l suppose.
Edit: l did some deep diving so it is the BA.2 variant there dealing with, so they avoided the first Omnicron variant if il'm reading it correctly.
Here's another food for thought with North America taking in Ukrainian refugees will only fuel the BA.2 variant watch for this to explode again. IMO

And here we go wave number ???? I lost track lockdowns mask mandates will return to B.C.IMO it kind of makes you wonder start a war what a better way to spread Covid to other countries than by feeling refugees would they be checking their vaxx passports at the border l highly doubt it.

Oh here we go if Variant BA.2 wasn't enough apparently variant XS is making an entry. Enough please l don't wish to know anymore l'm getting on with life.
Apparently B.C. health officials will release numbers once a week on Thursday's l guess so that way they can say hey look at the thousands of new cases get vaxxed or we'll lock it all down again with restrictions  enough already.

I sipped a beer from a cup of someone who turned out positive. I had a few headaches the next week but nothing that really suggested I should be concerned.

One thing that is turning out to be a dud for many people is natural immunity...it looks like it maybe lasts 90 days and then you're back to square one. I'm just going to keep getting boosted as much as possible and go out and live life.

It's alright.
Natural immunity more potent than vaccines during US Delta wave: study

CDC: Natural immunity stronger than vaccines alone during delta wave

The cited study in the media articles: https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/71/wr/ ... contribAff
Quote from the study:
During May–November 2021, case and hospitalization rates were highest among persons who were unvaccinated without a previous diagnosis. Before Delta became the predominant variant in June, case rates were higher among persons who survived a previous infection than persons who were vaccinated alone. By early October [2021], persons who survived a previous infection had lower case rates than persons who were vaccinated alone.

John pal welcome back  we sort of missed you. sounds like you had issues with boosters, l never got my 3rd l was sent a notice December 25th.
Still debating it l just might since there's like 4 new variants circulating l'm just waiting to see if it's a set up to get people to booster up. Especially that Theresa Tam is always trying to push vaxx shots.

Thank you! Enjoy your natural immunity. I'm 34 and omicron kicked my ass, maybe I'm unhealthy though I don't know. Drinking less probably would've helped. Either way I much prefered the 1-2 days of feeling like crap from the shots.

To clarify t3, Omicron is the re-infection variant, delta was still obviously close enough to the original that natural immunity was enough. Now having said that, re-infection is probably more mild in most cases so that is probably more important.

I'm getting on with my life as long as I'm allowed. Putting on a show next week with my band, first one since the original lockdown. Going to see friends, playing sports and tbh I'm not wearing a mask inside unless asked in which case I will gladly do it. The best part of all is not trying to get my special needs students to wear masks, that was possibly the biggest pain I experienced throughout the entire thing.

I figured you had Covid John, hope your not suffering from long haulers now. on that note John you know CDC will not let this Covid go the more boosters the more bucks for big pharma so you know they'll jam this down our throats anyone up for wave100, booster 100 incoming what a joke.
