Oh I know it is for actual musicians and how low the pay rate is! Apple Music is better for musicians. Tidal is the best for pay out but nobody uses tidal.

I missed this post. Streaming doesn't sell anything! Concerts are our only way to earn money and that is a tough and competitive business with venues struggling to survive, and putting an emphasis on cheap labour (DJs). Having said that, its extremely hard to argue against the convenience of Spotify. Also...CDs and other disposable things are worse for the environment if you ask me.

We had a garage sale today and I was shocked that someone came by and offered 20 dollars for my CDs that I haven't looked at in 15 years.

Couldn't even get $20 for a nice coffee table. My wife ended up selling it for five bucks.

Once Napster and other free streaming services turned up Kells all my CD's eventually were boxed up and that was the end of the CD era for me.
It was just much easier to put my tunes on a stick that holds thousands of tunes.
I didn't feel l was ripping off the industry as the tunes l downloaded l had already purchased on CD. :D

Goes to show that music is and always will be popular.

Vinyl will always have a place, its a niche thing but those that love it will spend their life savings on it.

So with Canada's refusal of Hauwei 5G technology does that mean some cell towers in B.C. will turn off 5G if it's Hauwei's technology?
I ask cause last night l was out in Popkum and my cell said 4G but for the last several months it was showing 5G yet when l drove to Abby land it was back to 5G.
Any thoughts for those in the know on this subject.?:D
But l heard 5G is only good with line of sight so l'm assuming it's washed out with our mountainous terrain.
Need better placed towers l'm guessing for 5G.
