This would be a good read, l remember listening to Dan's show after a Knuckles game on first CFMI 101fm.
Then it moved to CKNW weekdays. On weekends l believe was either Dave Randorf, Don Taylor or Brook Ward. l remember when Don Taylor played for the B.C. Lions.
Sports radio was huge on CKNW when they had the Lions and Knucks broadcast rights fun times.
Edit: Actually Dan's show started on CJOR 600.
Then when CJOR switched to rock CHRX in 89 his show moved to CKWX for a year l didn't know that.
I started listening when he was on CFMI.

Those Oilers man. Twice they've given up 9 this year, now in the second round. IMO they're not a Stanley Cup contender with that commitment to defense. Hopefully the avs take care of the winner next round.

That said, the battle of Alberta is highly entertaining and I hope to see more games like that.

Thought l read he played for the Lions Gimps there was a Don Taylor that played for the Lions wrong one then  , l recall Houlihan now that you mention it played for the Lions then worked at the old CTV affiliate out in Lake City Burnaby, with Pamela Martin man she was hot when she was younger.

Ya, it's almost like they think they're playing in 1982, not 2022. It almost worked for them. Quite the comeback like they used to do in the 1980s when being 5 goals down was nothing.

Here's a couple of clips from the 80's McKeach and Pamela Martin.
And second Barry Houlihan and Robert Malcom, Malcolm l believe was a news announcer on CKNW before joing BCTV, many memories of former news and sports announcers on BCTV growing up radio as well including disc jockeys l can go on for hours.
