Yes their checkpoints are near Lillooet, Boston Bar, and Manning Park.

If need be, just lie and they will let you go. They have no way to verify. I feel bad for them since they probably don't want to be out there anyway.
It always snows in December in the Kootenays

Ok. Let me be clear, I support restrictions that allow our province to stave off a healthcare nightmare and remain functional. But yes. The cops should not be tasked with keeping people cooped up in their health zone. That is a situation that reflects on the lack of planning and preparedness of our government. But having said that, it looks like that will end soon. Cases were in the 300s today! fantastic. Obviously we want to see them lower still but the trend is clear, we are beating back the third wave with restrictions and vaccines. Its almost time to open up and enjoy our lives. I am absolutely dying to go play some sports, and see some friends in a semi normal sense.

I'm also still not convinced that Dan McTeague from GasBuddy isn't actually in the oil lobby's pocket.

Every time he comes out to predict higher gas prices in the media he's just priming us to accept it. I'm not convinced they aren't paying him to do that while his website purports to help locals find the lowest gas price around.

Sure seems odd that he's the only one who knows when gas prices are going up or down and the exact amount.

On another note ,I still remember years ago when oil topped out at $150 a barrel and gas peaked at $1.50.Then oil crashed but gas came down verrry slowly, no longer at that same ratio, oil companies thought nobody would notice, and they were right. What's the gas price gonna be this time if oil reaches $150...$2.50? $3.00? What a scam.

I figured he was a shill from day one. Everytime I hear him on the radio I want to punch him in the face. He never comes on to say gas prices will DROP.
