Not much difference in the snow totals actually a bit better. I am looking at 925mb

LOL I got the 12z and 0z backward. In my defence, long day.

Yes, that is possible to start off, but precip rates will be quite intense forcing moisture to the ground, thus snow, the fine stuff out east in the valley. Blowing snow.

Some people could see up to 30 - 40cm of snow on the ground by next weekend if it doesn't melt. (Ground temps still a bit warm)
Tonights freeze should cool the top layer of soil at least. If the weekend storm occurs, some could see 50cm of snow or more (In Total/combined) from all events. On the ground.

Fingers crossed. Snow stays East of #3 Rd exit in Abby. The rest of us get sloppy rain. I don’t need 2 hrs commutes with dumbasses driving on bald “snow” tires.

Environment Canada doesn't do a late forecast right? They just have 3 a day?

5 am, 11 am and 4 pm. They will update it sometimes at night or during the day if the forecast has changed. Example ( snow not changing to rain as previously thought)

Unfortunately not which is unfortunate NWS does more updates than EC. Unless there's a warning issued but by that time it's over as we know.
5a.m. 11a.m. and 4p.m. l believe NWS issues 4 a day.

Sorry didn't see your post Weedly but correct warnings are only issued after the event has started or ended.
