Slow moderation until the SW'erlies break through leading to mild rains at +12

I've got a feeling we are going to get another arctic blast sometime in mid-late December. It's hard to imagine being unable to score again given the persistent high latitude blocking shown in the models. Hopefully next time we can get a polar low come straight down from the north without the over the water trajectory ejecting all the cold over the ocean. Sound like a plan? :flakey:
