I've a friend who absolutely loathes CR7 so I'm sure he'll be amused to know that he's replaceable.

One obvious theory is without the focus on getting the ball to Christiano, the other stars were able to shine on their own. If so, you wonder if they will even start him the next match.

I was trying to figure that out Glace, l know they've come back from multiple 3 goal deficits several times probably, that's going off my old fartism memory.
 1973 which game was that Glace against the California white skates  not so Golden Seals.

Netherlands has never won the world cup but has had many great teams over the years (especially 70s/80s) and come tantalizingly close.

Let's see your predictions!

Great news! Three tournaments in two years for Canada. Nations league and Gold Cup this upcoming summer, followed by the Copa America next summer.

The team not playing enough matches has always been a problem. More tournament experience is definitely needed as prep for the next World Cup. Also gives more chances for up and coming youth prospects to play and get cap-tied to the national team.

3rd time. 1971, 1973, and now. The last time Vancouver came back from being down 4-0 was January 16, 1973 against Jacques Plante and the Toronto Maple Leafs! They won 6-4.

Then again they returned to Atlanta  l think personally it's a travesty
they won't give Quebec City a shot, they have a nrw world class arena now too, Biteman is an arse IMO

That should be fun. More opportunities for our golden generation to play top teams.

Only one I'll go against you is England finds a way through France. They've got so much experience with this generation and the euro heartbreak drives them through. But being England a loss in penalties is probably the most likely outcome, objectively speaking.

  as much as losses in penalties traumatises me as an England fan, I'd have to agree, albeit reluctantly.

Every Canucks game is like a box of chocolates , you just never know watchya gonna get. Run n gun hockey, at least it's entertaining for now. Tied for 4th in league scoring , a good high powered offense is what I envisioned going into this season , but I didn't expect the collapse in goaltending, hence why they're a 500 hockey team, in no man's land.
