0z nam and gfs show a ridiculous amount of snow for the east island. Hard to tell without those pretty weatherbell maps. Maybe 50cm+
North end of Shawnigan Lake. Southern Vancouver island. 500ft

Snowfall warning in effect for:

Fraser Valley - east including Hope
Snowfall overnight and Thursday.

Location: Fraser Valley - East including Hope.

Hazard: Snowfall with amounts near 5 cm.

Time: Overnight and Thursday morning.

Remarks: A cold front tracking across the south coast will give snow beginning
overnight. Total snowfall amounts near 5 cm can be expected before the snow
changes to rain near midday Thursday.

So far this potential arctic blast looking like a backdoor event where we get cold but dry. Plenty of time to change that and hopefully it does.

Surprising resilience. Snow cover has lasted 8+ days now, but likely won't survive the overnight rain.
