NAM, GFS and ECMWF are very quick with the warmup with a southerly wind changing most of us to rain by Friday afternoon. GEM looks like the worst case scenario for the Fraser Valley.

Temp dropped like a rock for a couple hours after it cleared out around 6am. Recorded a low of -12.4c in east Coquitlam.

Currently -8.1c, dp -12.8c.

Hopefully we stay clear until tomorrow morning -- overnight lows could get pretty cold. Then the clouds move in around sunrise to cap the high temps.

Models are always to quick with the warmup and flushing out cold air

EC forecast highs for today in Metro Vancouver have busted.

Will likely end up in the -5c to -8c range instead of -10c.

Speaking of busts. The East Coast is on track to not see much of a winter...Models have come around to have seasonal temps due west with massive torching out east.





Really want Alaska and the Yukon to cool down soon.
