Will likely end up in the -5c to -8c range instead of -10c.
Figured the forecast was rather pessimistic.

YXX is already -10.2C, so they've already above gthe forecast high of -11C.

Still -11.5C at my place, and colder still on Sumas Prairie and eastward.

We are going to get nailed again this winter, sometime between January 15th and the end of February, but my guess is the second half of January.

If January, will be a Lower Mainland/Whatcom special. We don't get regionwide cold snaps in January anymore. Want one of those, must wait until February.

Beautiful snowy morning. The sun came out and it was blinding on the white snow. It has been 'snowing' all morning, small flakes leisurely floating down, don't expect any accumulation from them but really pretty.

1 cm of snow and snow pellets since midnight.
:team: :flakey: :flakey:

Snow total: 1cm Dec 24, 1cm Feb 19

Eh it's still plenty cold. Hopefully tonight stays clear so people can see their extreme lows.
