Thanks for the explanation! Unfortunately doesn't work for me but hopefully for the other members. This only became a issue when the forum was down for a few days.VanCitySouth wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 11:39 pm The website has not logged me out on any device or browser since I discovered the http:// vs the https:// difference, even though I get the old logo and the phpBB default logo depending on which device I'm on.
What I discovered personally was that if I use the unsecured http version (the browser will give you an indication that it's unsecured in the address bar, in the form of a caution sign or an unlocked padlock symbol), I will get logged out every time.
If I use the secured https version (the padlock logo will appear locked), I do not get logged out. I have since updated my favourites/history across the board to all reflect the https version so that I do not accidentally open the forum in the unsecured version. I have not been logged out anywhere since.

I'm on a laptop and don't do mobile either so no idea if it would have carried over (figured I'd add details in case that helps figure out a fix for everyone)
Hope Stuff can fix this for you and the others soon

It is possible to configure a server to fix this issue. There are a number of ways to do it, but the best is to simply issue a redirect to a corresponding https: URL whenever a request for an http: one comes in.VanCitySouth wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 11:39 pm The website has not logged me out on any device or browser since I discovered the http:// vs the https:// difference, even though I get the old logo and the phpBB default logo depending on which device I'm on.

P.S. The correct type of redirect to issue is a 308 redirect. This tells the browser that the preferred URL has permanently changed. A well-written browser will then change or offer to change the bookmark that prompted the redirect response.

Looks like a dry blast with a +PNA ridge that locks the East into cold.
My guess is we see this dominate until mid-late Feb before the West gets their turn.

Still a little early for me to call it at this stage, but if I had to call it I would call for a dry blast. Model consensus.wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 25, 2023 7:48 am Looks like a dry blast with a +PNA ridge that locks the East into cold.

No Nito, you're supposed to go with the torch until April line, stop going off-script!wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 25, 2023 7:48 am Looks like a dry blast with a +PNA ridge that locks the East into cold.

Inversions, torch, pineapples, then in April we'll have a dusting of slush!

Also, it may be a good thing that we aren't entering a snowy period, as we wouldn't have Stormer around to track the snowfalls.
