Southerly flow banking low-level cold against the mountains and creating upsloping. Classic North of the Fraser Special setup.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Today was always a slight chance of flurries anyways.
As was yesterday night. Really no surprises so far.

Still on track for a cold march, and 5 straight months with snow and/or arctic outbreaks.

For sure. I still think it'll happen, at least a few CMS. Inland locations could see more.

Would be nice to have had a snowfall in 5 consecutive months.

Heck, April could be in play too... who knows.

Too bad Nov 6 didn't happen a week earlier. Could've had a shot at 7.

Almost starting to remind me of the town in the Rockies where I attended college: snow every month from October to May, inclusive. With September and June snowfalls in some years.
It's called clown range for a reason.
