If you looked at EC you really wouldn't believe anymore snow chances were possible next week.

If you looked at the meteocode for Metro Vancouver from EC on Spotwx, last night chart was 10-20 cm, then this morning it was 15-25, and now with the 11 AM update it's 20-30.

I think the meteocode is the official text forecast which gets translated into the EC website for public viewing?

Onshore flow with sunbreaks. Heavier showers will drag down a wintery mix but we are now at that point where sunbreaks without arctic air can lead to temps reaching +8 very easily.

Front looked a bit juicier on the euro today, I thought. Tries to form a weak low along the front off the west coast. More juice but perhaps a bit more south wind.

A chilly -9.2C this morning here. Nanaimo hit -12C. Clinton was -37C
North end of Shawnigan Lake. Southern Vancouver island. 500ft
