I just want everyone to be respectful on here. It's okay to be passionate about your hobby but once you start being sarcastic and criticizing others, then it's gone too far.

Bonovox wrote: Sat Feb 25, 2023 1:39 pm This is unequivocally false. It will not take long for the snow to accumulate. We’ve been in the freezer for over 3 days. The ground doesn’t just magically unfreeze over a couple of hours. Stop trying to rile people up. Relax and enjoy the snow.
Written on here can be taken out of context. YOUR opinion is that i am trying to rile people up. I am not. I am stating what i am observing. Everyone is so locked into this "snow" event, and the precip seems to be getting delayed and frayed (imo). I am just saying what i see lol.
Dont take it the wrong way..its just another marginal snow event

But thanks for more reassurances.

Everyone just chill out geez!! I am waiting for the snow like everyone else is...
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

Looking like a weak low forms along the front and tracks over southern Vancouver island around midnight. This is when the lower mainland will see the heaviest snow (12-4am). But also when areas immediately adjacent to the strait may see some mixing with rain.

That may be how you perceive it but it is not reality. Model consensus has been that the action will start in the late afternoon to early evening. Still a few hours away.

These early flurries are actually MORE than most models were calling for us to be getting right now.

Good point..but temps are warmer than forecast. I thought this may be a problem..But apparently this is of no concern

Maybe this is why Nito mowed his lawn (we all know he's quietly on Team Snow).

Could be.

I also need to dig out a trench for my rock garden.

You are going to get absolutely buried! About 2cm on the ground at Horseshoe bay but none near Londsdale Quay. Above the upper levels it’s already a white out at times…
