Do you think we could get a thunderclap out of it at least?

Continental dry air is trickling back into the Fraser Valley right now. Really helping minimizing any instability at the mid levels.

I'm under heavier greens on the radar and currently seeing very light showers. Something is wrong with the radar...

Temp: 3.3c

Edit: More of a mix actually.
Back to a cold rain now, but the temp has dropped. The brief pickup in intensity definitely brought some mixed precip to the surface here.

18z HRRR brings in a brief period of moderate snow tomorrow evening over Eastern Metro Vancouver. Only lasts for an hour or two and in reality will probably be a mix or wet snow.

At this point its a novelty - saying it "snowed" in 5 straight months. In reality, January and March barely squeak into the conversation.

Similar to 2010-11 with snow in 5 straight months with YVR picking up only a trace in December and March.

I’ll take snow any time of the year. Whether it sticks or not. 8-)

Ya not sure what's up with the radar. Some intense colours went over me already as well and nothing but a few spits so far. The wind picked up a bit, but that was it. Looks like another bigger blotch coming so we shall see. If nothing comes out of that, then the radar IS botched. Nito will have to go and fix it with supervision by Sheriff Goose.

That’s impressive. Our yard is basically bare.

The large snowflakes lasted about 20 min, must've been produced by heavier precip rates, then backed off and changed to snow/rain mix. Not much happening now, although it did try to snow again 30 min ago.

Well, that big blob on radar came and went and nothing happened. It didn't even rain. So that radar is useless.
