The pattern is shifting away from a -PNA (with a positive retrogression signal) into a full blown mega rex block. Fake cold with some low level dry air established prior to get rid of low level fog.

Hoping to get some jet conslidation in Dec week 2. Need some good Mountain snow. Also would kill those strong +SST temps offshore.

Still stand on my call for lowland snow on Xmas week.

Yikes..looking at the WRF maps. Pressure gradients look to indicate 90-100km/hr wind gusts expected late Tues in the Valley.
