Absolutely devastating. I’ve loved listening to John and John over the years.

Hronek looks good at least.

Building a winning culture is important too though. But it needs to carry over into next season.

This is nuts , canucks only 2 pts behind Ottawa and 3 pts behind Washington and Buffalo. Team Tank getting totally destroyed, getting bombed from all angles, not just Kuz, Pettersson a scoring machine and will break 100 pts, Hughes breaking records, Demko playing like Demko, Miller playing like a beast since Horvat left, leading league in short handed goals, and better team defence under Tocchet. So drafting a really good player getting worse by the day. It's the Canuck Way.

Sure hope this can all translate into next year. So far looks like the Canucks won the Horvat trade, Beau has more points than Bo since the trade, Hronek looks good, Pettersson and Miller increased productivity and responsibilities have made us forget about Horvat while Horvat's production has fallen off a cliff. The way Miller is playing don't think I'd want to trade him anymore, he's the type of player that would excel in the playoffs..if they ever get there. Tocchet hockey already making me forget about Bruce there it is. Now if we can only get OEL to quit hockey, but heard that Tocchet will buy him a Bowflex machine so he can come back next year in the best shape of his life.

Awesome analysis skipper really makes you wonder if the real slim shady finally stood up.
I'm perplexed at how there playing to be honest guess they want a crappy draft pick.
I'm looking forward to next season to another 0-15 start to see who our next coach will be.
And then we go on a run again only to fall short and start the process all over again in 24/25. :o

Funny how as soon as St.Louis took that 5-2 lead l thought, yup they're gonna come back, and sure enough they did ,even though they still lost in overtime . Yeah I know, kind of a useless point, but no denying they're alot more fun to watch now under Tocchet. It looks like maybe Rutherford's criticisms of some aspects of Boudreau's coaching was correct ,but definitely shouldn't have been made public, which turned into a bit of a circus.

Surprisingly the Islanders keep winning, even with Barzal injured, and Horvat becoming as cold as ice, but on a playoff team he must be learning to sacrifice and pay the price in other areas on the ice. Looks like their draft position will be around 19th 20th,or higher if they can do some playoff damage. Hronek is playing well for the most part but not seeing enough offence out of him, and haven't seen yet the advertised booming shot.

I think Ray Ferraro would be a great replacement for John Garrett if he's offered the job, that's if he can get out of his ESPN job. If offered don't see why he wouldn't take it considering he lives here, unless it's a conflict of interest with his wife being a canucks employee.

Cujo was the emergency goalie in Toronto... would have been awesome if both goalies got injured instead of just one.

Back in the 1980s Johnny Bower was almost called into action as an emergency goalie. In his mid 50s at that point. Curtis Joseph is 55. It's only a matter of time before Gordie Howe's age record is broken by an emergency goalie.

Hmmm, that's an interesting thought Glace.
I'm sure many times skipper Grumps has thought about suiting up for this old Kerrisdale team at age 80.
