That being said if Hawk lived in John's basement no one would think anything about it or care less.

What happened to summer? It's cold and overcast today. Currently a chilly 12.5c. Gotta find my winter gear again.

Wait… the torching will recommence shortly. EC is already forecasting highs of 28°C later this week.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Hawk, Stuff, John, Goose, Hound, SouthSardis, Weather101, Typeing, and VanCitySouth went out for drinks last night. Once all the small talk about religion and politics was out of the way and some of them had a few too many, the conversation turned into a more contentious direction -- the weather. Eventually the discussion turned toward last week's heat wave, and they started arguing about which was the hottest day.

Hawk said it was the 12th, Stuffradio said the 13th, John the 14th, and so on up to the 20th. Things got really heated and the fight spilled out of the street. Eventually SouthSardiswx messaged me to make a quick graph so they settle the dispute.

I hate to sound woke, but everyone gets a trophy because they were all right. It just depended where you were at during the heatwave.

Hawk was up in Fort Nelson fighting fire, so for him, the hottest day was the first day of the heat wave (the 12th).

For Stuff, he was over in Nelson checking on his marijuana grow-op, so the 13th was the hottest day for him.

John was in the Fraser valley where the 14th was the hottest day.

Goose wanted to visit the hottest spot, so he ended up in Lytton where the 15th was the hottest day.

Hound figured Ashcroft would be hotter, so he was in Ashcroft, which did set the hottest temperature on the 16th.

Sardis was up in Kitimat because there just isn't enough rain on the south coast, so for him the 17th was the hottest day.

Weather 101 hung out at the airport all week so his hottest day was the 18th.

Typeing spent the week in Kelowna so his hottest day was the 19th.

Vancitysouth figured that Ososoyoos would be the hottest spot so spent the week there, but the joke was on him because Osoyoos was actually cooler on average than Kelowna. But he did finally get some hot weather at the end, with the hottest day being the 20th.

Here is one of the graphs I made for them.

MAYDAY MAYDAY! We need some warm sunny weather this month. Some showers mixed in would be good too

Looks like the heat will be in the Prairies and Midwest. Watch that Super Typhoon in the West Pacific, if it recurves in a northeastern direction it could really buckle the jet stream and possibly give us another Ridge-zilla pattern in about 2.5 weeks. Doesn't look like that's where it's going but some models showing it recurving.

What a refreshing day in the central valley although upper 20's are on tap for Thursday and Friday before more precip rolls in.

Had a few drops of rain tonight enough that the car is wet but not the wooden deck, it must have absorbed all 6 drops.

Another cold day. High of 14.8 hit it three times today! Low last night of 7
