Was camped out by Harrison Lake over the weekend and although things still look green, it’s DRY out there. Middle of the summer dry.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Similkameeeens was already getting parched ground in mid May. Top 15-30mm bone dry

Not much moisture in sight. Could be a widespread bad season for forest fires across the Southern half of BC
Let's hope this April brings some ~24c sunny days. Yesssss

It looks like the Fraser peaked on the 20th, which is close to a month earlier than normal.

Speaking of fires l noticed this smoke when l got to work.
It seems to be coming from north of Chilliwack perhaps north of Mt. Woodside l'm not sure but what difference in air quality compared to my Saturday pic it's going downhill as we approach the mini heat hump. :x
P.S. sorry about the power lines Ms. Perfectcreeks. :D

That's good Glace last summer the Chilliwack river was high due to the late freshet that people couldn't tube down the Chilliwack river especially in the hot days of July & August now this year should be good. One popular spot is near the Keith Wilson Bridge west of Chilliwack lounging on a tube or dinghy in the nice cool water.
