There was a station at the golf course nearby but unfortunately did not collect any temperature data.

Overnight min of 17.5˚C, slightly cooler than last morning. Something tells me it’s gonna torch worse this afternoon, however.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Plenty of that on tap the next time 1°C wet snow is modelled.

I prefer dry arctic outflows followed by gradual moderating airmasses and then +0.1C rain!

Kinda cool. 12Z Euro landfalls the remnants of an ex-hurricane near Southern California. Unfortunately, none of the moisture makes it up here, as it kind of dies out over Southern Oregon.

Just got back to Mission after visiting the folks in Kelowna for six days. According to the Griswold Family Truckster, at the summit of the Coq. it was 33 at around 11:30. Breeze into the LM at it's only 33. That's impressive heating by compression up there and a good example of how the decreasing sun angle's impact us this time of year. If the axis of this ridge was a wee bit west, the downscoping would be impressive. Speaking of decreasing sun angles, my six-year-old son wanted to help my dad at the farm picking fruit and veggies. He was in the sun for over 3 hours and got a light tan.

Didn’t something like that happen last year, too?
