Agreed.
Stuffy are you able to re-enable that function and see if it still slows down the site? Even if it's just temporary because I imagine there will be a lot of tweets shared on here due to the escalating wildfire situation. If not, no problem but it would be appreciated if you're able too. Thanks in advance.

Re: August 2023 Forecasts and Discussions
Power is now out in parts of West Kelowna due to the fire. Hopefully it's not a long outage but at this point if the worst case is a loss of all food, that would be the best case scenario. I'm far more worried about the homes and for the safety of all the people.

Re: August 2023 Forecasts and Discussions

I suspect some of these fires are being deliberately caused with no real political rationale. There are many pyromaniacs out there.

Re: August 2023 Forecasts and Discussions
For those not from the area or not familiar with the area, here's an interactive map: https://www.cordemergency.ca/map
I said this evening to my folks who are in Kelowna that they are likely to throw everything they have at the southern flank of the fire tomorrow as the winds will shift to N. It's not crazy to think that this could shut down Hwy 97 by tomorrow afternoon if that southern flank flares up and is not containable. I was hearing that the province is having evacuees to congregate in Westbank. I'm scratching my head at that decision as it's reasonable to think that all of West Kelowna, Westbank, and Lakeview Heights up to Mt Boucherie could be in harms way tomorrow afternoon.

It might have caused the forum to crash a while back, so not sure if it can be enabled. Probably need a newer version of the plugin.AbbyJr wrote: ↑Thu Aug 17, 2023 9:40 pm Agreed.
