Yep, January 1993 -- now over 30 years ago which was our last cold January, with a monthly mean temp below 0c.

Maybe I'm biased but I have a feeling we are going to break the January curse soon and it's going to come when least expected.

So I'm gonna get this over with and put it out there, as I know i'm now on the periphery to most people in the forum. Moved up to Squamish for personal reasons, not for the snow. But might do marginally ok throughout the winter if reputation holds. I hear there's been a few skiffs of snow for the last month and a half here and there, but just a couple centimeters of wet sloppiness currently as it's been snowing lightly all day, but slightly above freezing at sea level. Hi everyone anyways, and if it gets exciting, I'll try not to brag since I know i've cheated a bit coming here.

Well, this is it what's left of the ponds kinda surprising score on Saturday.
Great team effort by Slyts and the boy's. John was spotted at the Legion playing darts. but we couldn't get another CM past team.skipper Gumperoni probably due to the game was called due to Grumps bed time.

North slope below QE Park previously (and Lynn Valley N Van long ago). Have a lot of settling in to do, but maybe will see about station eventually...

In fact, we will probably not see any subzero temps on the local mountains over the next 2 weeks.

Cypress has a 50cm base at the mid point which will melt away before Christmas.

In fact the extended GEFS has that dang "troff" in play right into the first part of Jan.

Talk about a #patternlock that we don't really want.
