Re: December 2023 Forecasts and Discussions
It dropped below 0 this morning. We're almost a week away from winter starting! When we reach the solstice, that's when you're allowed to say Winter is over and stick a fork in this winter
Just kidding. Enjoy the ride. We might get surprise snow... OR it will torch and get us daffodils early

Re: December 2023 Forecasts and Discussions
That ULL off the coast next week would deliver some major thunderstorms if this were July or August.
This time of year? Drizzle and 2500m freezing levels. Could be +12 and drizzle.

Re: December 2023 Forecasts and Discussions
l don't think so Jr. Man most likely with our luck the gift was a scam and El Nino is living in El Neato's basement now, it's currently 6c @ the pond in south Sardis.
A little something from skipper Gimpy's younger day's perhaps it's interesting just how vulnerable our low lying areas are in the lower mainland.
A fabulous historical shot of the flooded 'farming flats' of Cloverdale, BC on what was then the Pacific Hwy to the border and beyond to California circa 1920's. Many of you will remember ice skating on flooded farmer's fields in the Fry's Corner area back in the day.
