Re: December 2023 Forecasts and Discussions
Looks like the North Shore ski areas are closing or closing terrain. Cypress is back to just the bunny run. On the bright side it appears that the closest ski area to me in Vanderhoof is opening Friday and I arrive Saturday. However, the forecast for the next day for that area is rain and then freezing, so I won't be hitting the slopes for a while.

Last white Christmas in NYC is 2009. I think Vancouver has done super in comparison.

Tomorrow begins higher sun angles as our threat of sticking snow rapidly declines.stuffradio wrote: ↑Thu Dec 21, 2023 4:58 am Say hello to Winter! It's the shortest day of the year today![]()

Perhaps your correct Stuffed Christmas stockings l was referring to our new climate in Dec/Jan.stuffradio wrote: ↑Thu Dec 21, 2023 6:03 am The word "rapidly" might be exaggeratingWe can still get sticking snow in February, it's just that it melts a lot more easily in the afternoons but we can still have sticking snow for a while in February.
