Not this again the yearly ridiculous and insane models are back then comes the watered down version followed by disappointment for all the weather weenies on our forum and downright suicidal posts on the A.F. however much more entertaining than Rock'n New Years eve with someone who's been dead for years.stuffradio wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2023 9:38 am 12Z goes off the deep-end. -13 to -15C?

Re: December 2023 Forecasts and Discussions
I’m actually glad to see it. Based on just about every cold snap in the past decade, if there is a cold snap this time there will be backpedalling in the models. Ridiculous cold gives a margin for the backpedalling to happen while it still being cold enough to get the goods. And the AF can still get their fix for collectively whining about the big bustaroni. Wins all around!
It's called clown range for a reason.

But this seems all correagraphed every year Rubes almost like a script right down to El Nino's posts l'm convinced this is all A.I. l'm living in a repeated time warp oh well the egg grogs are excellent nonetheless.Rubus_Leucodermis wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2023 11:15 am I’m actually glad to see it. Re: December 2023 Forecasts and Discussions
Ya, I'm the first to vehemently defend a realistic cold solution ( just ask wetcoast, lol), but seriously, in a decaying, moderate/strong El Nino, it's just not logical. Having said that, the rapidly changing climate, does leave room for weirdness.SouthSardiswx wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2023 11:01 am Not this again the yearly ridiculous and insane models are back then comes the watered down version followed by disappointment for all the weather weenies on our forum and downright suicidal posts on the A.F. however much more entertaining than Rock'n New Years eve with someone who's been dead for years.

Cold goes
Looks like big time potential for the Great Lakes.
Pattern still sucks for Phil.

Dry and chilly is nice! Allows the mountains to make some
Thinking future runs will plop that ridge right over us though.

Re: December 2023 Forecasts and Discussions
You could be right, but we could also score a couple of surprise snowfalls. It wouldn't take much.wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2023 12:50 pm Dry and chilly is nice! Allows the mountains to make some

Re: December 2023 Forecasts and Discussions
Give me a little bit of snow and then some fake cold. I think that's all this winter is capable of delivering at this point. I would love to be wrong though.
