Only down to -2 here. This is only down from +2.9 this morning. We've had more impressive drops. This might be one of the few times that arctic air misses us completely

Yikes.. the ice is already creating accidents

Nice semi surprise snow for us. I think we got about 2 cms so far still coming down. The cold is shocking. Taking the garbage out and wowee I had to run safely to get back in to warmth. I ain’t about the cold weather/snow etc I was happy with how winter was going.

I passed on a meeting tonight. Don’t want to bike any more in the cold today, don’t want to get stuck in traffic driving, and I’m sure the buses are a fustercluck.

I really don't think the comment was made as an attack. If anything it was sorta self-deprecating since he said he himself was like one.

Fair enough. I just really don't like the term weenie and when he applied it to himself, he didn't use it. But let's not have drama here. Back to weather.

Weenie = weather geek.
Weenie mode = getting emotionally involved in the weather, particularly over getting skunked (or potentially skunked) during snow events.
