Sad state of affairs happening here; EC has issued a "warmer than normal" winter forecast for the entire country yet here we are in an ENSO neutral state and a deep solar minimum. Maybe it was a bad dream I had?

I haven’t seen EC winter forecast but I’d guess warmer than normal for the entire country just ain’t gonna happen.

Looks like the pattern sets us up for below normal temps around hr 300 on the 12z GFS... so there is that.
