A 5 to 10 cm event is possible IMO, it all falls after dark.

What happened to higher precip rates? They're tepid at best.

We've had plenty of solid March snowfalls in the past? Also, I don't think nature cares that the calendar flipped an arbitrary month, if the conditions for snow are there, it'll happen. Having said that, yeah, a snowfail is always a great bet in these parts.

I have never seen more than some fleeting slushy flakes that melt as soon as they hit the ground in March in the PNW. Not any more than that in 30+ years. It is my March snow jinx.

The only way it snows and sticks in March is if I leave town.

Sorry, I don’t make the rules. I just report the rules. I am not allowed to experience sticking snow in March. There are now two more days in which sticking snow is possible then it is all over for the season.
