I haven't looked outside this morning but apparently it has been raining heavily. It might be time to plant those cucumbers and Tomatoes!

I'm in Seattle for a short visit (returning tomorrow) and yesterday it absolutely poured rain from the time I left Vancouver late afternoon until I reached Everett around 6:30 pm.

Going through the Skagit Valley in the early evening, still light, but rain pouring down, brought back memories of late April 1996 when the vegetable canning plant in Stanwood burned down. I could see the smoke plume through the rain but it wasn't clear exactly what it was. Only learned later that night when watching the news on TV.

Nice to see we can still get a spring featuring decent rainfall.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Breaking news: the Climate Prediction Center now has ENSO 3.4 in neutral territory!

The discussion from today says the ENSO 3.4 observed temperature is at 0.5C which is borderline El Nino territory. Anything below 0.5 is neutral.

Yes, we get it. You don't believe in climate change. You think millions of scientists are lying for fun.
