True. It is statistically the driest time of the year so any rain should come as a surprise especially if we're running on a dry spell under three weeks.

Oh no...there's a fire threatening my beloved Wells (and Barkerville). Good god I hope it doesn't burn. Wells is a hidden gem in this province, and Barkerville needs no explanation.

The 2 fires near Jasper are the mother lode. Prayers for the ppl affected there we reached a high of 23c @ the pond.

Drove through Jasper and stopped there afew times over the years John. This is absolutely horrible sad news lots of memories for me over years with trips through there. :(
