Yes, that sounds about right based on the current model trends. But still time for things to trend cooler or even warmer.

Doing a loop -- out to Calgary, then south and back home through the Kootenays!

2nd pic is driving through part of the area that burned from The Tremont Creek wildfire back in 2021. Was a huge one that spanned from Ashcroft to Logan Lake.

Yep, will be taking the Crowsnest back from Pincher Creek... was also planning to take a bit of a detour between Creston and Castlegar to the Kootenay Bay ferry (haven't taken that one before) and then stop by New Denver and Silverton but that looks unlikely now unfortunately due to the fires nearby.

Looks like Tuesday will be a cool/wet day when I'll be passing through the Crowsnest Pass and Cranbrook.

Too bad about that fire near Slocan Lake, we really enjoyed our 5 day trip a few years ago, Halcyon hot springs, Nakusp, McDonald creek provincial park, New Denver, Nelson, Ainsworth hot springs, Kaslo, and caught a few trout from shore on a small lake on hwy 31A on way back to upper Arrow lake ferry.

I believe the Needles ferry (Hwy 6) is the cable one. Been on that one before when traveling between Nelson and Vernon.

I'm often getting logged out over the past few days. Is it just me?

High of 22.7c in Sechelt. Filtered sun, it looks like it's coming through some high smoke but air is good down here.

Looking forward to the rain. Any guesses as to amounts?
