On another note, the 12Z has a 988 low coming relatively closely to us.

First one pictured (Cantharellus formosus, Pacific golden chanterelle) is edible. Also saw lots of the following (Amanita gemmata), which are quite poisonous.SouthSardiswx wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2024 7:44 pm Geesh Rubes l don't have a clue which ones are edible. The 00Z RGEM has backed off on the rain totals for some areas Monday night. However, the HRDPS has increased them significantly.
Either way, it's going to rain again.
Here are the 6 hour totals from 6:00PM Monday to 12:00AM Saturday:

Definitely would go good with my steak dinner Rubes. Looks like one more gullywasher perhaps overnight Monday before we transition back to some decent weather by weeks end.Rubus_Leucodermis wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2024 10:00 pm First one pictured (Cantharellus formosus, Pacific golden chanterelle) is edible. Re: August 2024 Forecasts And Discussions
Been dry as a bone this summer, and especially this month here. Less than an inch of rain for August here.
It always snows in December in the Kootenays
