We got the Hurricane Milton experience without the storm surge, 200kph winds, tornadoes and 1 ft of rain!NorthBurnabyWeather wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2024 6:36 pm 85kA +CG around Metrotown was so bright that I thought it was on top of me (near SFU)

That was sure an impressive shower that came through just before sundown. Got nearly 8 mm of rain inside 10 minutes, some small hail, a thunderclap, then a rainbow.
It's called clown range for a reason.

No thunder in east Coquitlam. Just a shower between 6:30 and 7:000.

First is observed, second is predicted. Kp of 8 would be a good display.

Kp index now up to 8.3. Highest since last May.

Kp up to 8.7 now. And it’s mostly clear out there. C’mon!
