The cold air gets relatively close on the 00Z at the end of Nov, but then it moves east.

These blue and purple maps are just so pretty!

Cold tonight, 2.8c in Roberts Creek and ice on the car, 3.2c in Sechelt (Wilson Creek Airport). I think it's the first frozen night. I'd check but I don't know where EC hid the historic daily temps.

Also look at this cold air so close. The sounding shows -6C for Abbotsford.

That setup at face value would draw out a ton of low level outflow and produce snow down to sea level.

We've had two frosts here so far this season, but still awaiting the first freeze. Last night was foggy and now partly cloudy so no frost here.

GFS is looking very snowy at the end of November for us. Only 14 days away!!

12z GFS introduces some cold air aloft which leads to some passing wet snow showers on Monday evening into Tuesday.

This low is fortunately not riding the jet stream. We are now talking about a major snowstorm for Eastern Vancouver Island. Wow.

Good pineapple pattern with that GOA in the right spot. Brings in an endless supply of tropical punch.
