Wow thank you for posting these. Both show the Willoughby SnowZone here, with that nose of higher snow totals pushing down SE and covering the majority of that highly sought after region for :flakey: :flakey: lovers
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

I’m right by the water in Ladner now, moved last summer. This looks legitimate all the way to the coast. Exciting times ahead.

I'm still perplexed as to why the GEM is so stubborn with driving in the cold this weekend. The Euro continues to show much higher snowfall totals.

I wouldn’t worry too much about it, Jr man. The overwhelming signal across all guidance is it will snow this weekend. There are bound to be discrepancies in the finer details.

These euro snow maps have been terrible in recent years. I’m curious when the shift from non sticking snow showers to accumulating snow occurs. 40cm+ in Abbotsford?

Maybe it’ll work out. I’m just curious how much of that might fall as non accumulating snow before the colder air arrives. Looks like the modified arctic air will arrive into the Fraser valley sometime Sunday, but the timing is still up in the air. And there are some signs of convergence along the outflow boundary later Sunday but to have any confidence in amounts with that at this range is impossible.
