Bottomed out at -9.5˚C here.

I wondered about a Valentine's Day snowfall here's a refresher on the 1990 Valentine's dump.

Today concensus on the models is they seem to like the idea of significant snow next week Tuesday-Wednesday period.

Lets focus on tonights little disturbance heading this way for hopefully more :flakey: :flakey: :alert:
There are people out there who it makes a difference to. Me to a certain extent as I live in an rv and water lines can freeze. But mostly people who live outside.

Yes biggie. A difference of −5 to −9 degrees is significant for the elderly and those in vulnerable situations, especially the homeless. That makes the windchill more unbearable as well. A trace of snow does not matter, but it being 4 to 5 degrees colder can make a huge difference to someone's body.

There's a shelter in Chilliwack that opened 30 spaces and there still short a comment like that from Hawk is not thinking of the vulnerable in this weather IMO.
