Red alert! Red alert! Snowfall warning issued!
If a snowfall warning is issued, there is no need for any alert. We all know its now game over.

Does anyone have statistics on that? Both when a warning fails and when they don't get the warning up before it snows.
Hound, master of the smilies, do you have a Game Over one?

I'll never forget that one event in late Jan 2008.
Was sunny and relatively mild downtown while the eastern suburbs got pummeled with up to 20cm in just a few hours. Completely unexpected.
