radar is filling in...some cells are on the way..could be virga..i dunno. Decent cell heading :arrow: towards W Van
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

GFS is sort of crappy for Mountains. Dry the next week then right into a warm rain pattern. GEM has the same evolution. :thumbdown:

Gem sucks too. Hopefully the euro continues its good mountain pattern and some overrunning potential.

Interesting approach direction. That path can sometimes work out really well for western areas.
It's called clown range for a reason.

lol..that first band of precip incoming is looking like some of those Meso maps with snowfall in a SE to NE band :shock: :shock:

Looks like precipitation moving south eastward down the straight heading to Vancouver.

Traffic cam at Nanaimo & Dundas is showing a little snow falling in the streetlight beam.

Scratch that, it's just tree branches. And this is under the heaviest echoes. So far it seems to be a nothingburger.

Where: Metro Vancouver.

When: Now through Saturday morning.

Remarks: A mix of cloudy conditions is expected to impact the South Coast of B.C. through Satuday morning. A period of scattered clouds is expected to turn to overcast conditions overnight leading to slightly reduced visibility.
