Probably too far to trend north in this timeframe. But the GFS seems insistent we will get something out of this before we go back into the abyss.

Yeah I wouldn't mind keeping it going but when weather is boring for months on end then you need to talk about other things. And that may or may not be one of this forum's strengths...

I have about half my snow still. It'll hold until Friday. As much as I will miss it, my power bill will enjoy the break lol.

That's true perhaps the rules should be relaxed any topic goes instead as you mentioned burying it in some dark corner of the forum.

I have seen worse on the GFS for 850 temps. There could be some marginal snow for 1000m elevation in SW BC the next 2 weeks. The GFS is showing this:

Well l guess scraps is better than nothing. I just can't believe how it seems the local mountains suffer year after year. I'll never forget the 1999 ski season 1000cm fell on Cypress that season and they had skiing in June.

 :wtf: Rebulicans wants to re name Greenland Red, White, and Blue land. It's currently -4.7c clear skies, and calm winds this weeks Arctic fluff is done. A.I. Canada is going with rain now more than anything for Saturday, in the central valley. :( :x enjoy the last of your snow forum friends. It's looking gloomy next week that's the only downfall let's hope snow levels stay low for mountain top snowfalls.

:alert: :alert:
ouch. Unless EC updates the forecast moving forward, we are screwed. Looks like we are set for one of those 1-2cm of slush before the rain takes over this weekend
:cancel: :flakey:
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

this will end up being (imo) a really nice run of 2 winter weeks. A few snowfalls. one with 17-19cms, next one with about 6-7cms, a cupla dustings, and most days near or below freezing for highs. Not a drop of rain.
Pretty much the last gasp of a real chance at winter, as we approach the back half of February. It will be interesting to see how the weather plays out over the next 6 weeks

11 straight days of snow cover and another cold night. This is a B+ event for me. An A would require region wide so didn’t quite get there.

Another slight push north on the GFS. But running out of time to get all the way up here.

Still looks dry the next 10 or so days with the storm track taking aim up north. Most precip is light with a ton of drippy drap damp weather. Big time thaw for the ski hills in that 10-14 day period with a strong AR signal.

I find it funny how they say they have a near 250cm base depth at Cypress when there's still many runs at mid mountain that are not even close to this....
