Looking at the Euro and GFS models, that sounds low to me. I’d say 2–4" is most likely. Bet the official forecast busts.

Also, if there’s not a strong south wind to clean the cold air out, expect Portland to stay in the icebox until sometime this weekend. The cold air can be VERY stubborn there. I remember one storm in 2004 where for most of a week the official forecast was “trust us, the thaw is coming tomorrow.” Eventually it did, days late.
It's called clown range for a reason.

The Nam tries as well. If it wasn't the GFS and NAM pushing the snow narrative I'd be getting mildly curious by now.

I actually believe GFS over Euro for the reasons I said this morning i.e. scouring out cold too fast

They are both wrong. The other micro maps are better. Macro maps have too much bleed.

It seems to have almost settled on a track that favours south Washington. The gfs trended south and gem met north to meet in the middle. A big one probably isn’t happening here but an over performance is always possible.

sad looking slow roll into the rain :|
Lookiing like a #2 or #3 for sure now and :cancel: :flakey: :cancel:
not much to pick from, but based on ECs sadcast, it looks like one of the following:

2) Starts as snow > Turns to rain within a few hours > Total 0.5-1cm of sloppy goo
3)Starts as snow > then turns to rain quickly > >Turns everything into a clear glaze > 1-2mm of sloppy slush
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)
