Who obliterates 50,000 people (20,000 children) to smithereens? Sounds like a very lopsided exchange rate to me.

Outrageous, but I feel like everyone is ignoring the fact that Harper spent almost as much (actually MORE if you adjust for inflation). This is just "how it is" -- but I agree changes should be made.

We did that in WW2. It's sad and unfortunately, but when you're dealing with Nazis and the like, it is sometimes necessary, especially when they're using children as human shields.

How many people here LOVE the USA, travelling there, going over the border to shop, shopping locally at USA retailers (Home Depot/Amazon/Wayfair/Costco/Walmart/etc etc etc) How many people loved Trump before he was re-elected? Just curious how much you like the USA now with Trump crushing the USA's decades long Allies and neighbours?

For the record, i never go to the USA, prolly spend less than $1000/year (at all those retailers i mentioned, COMBINED), and will now go out of my way to not give any USA business my money.

Some of you are probably going to Costco and Walmart or one of those this week... to MAGA and keep pumping money into their economy year after year. You have all helped the USA retailers expand and stay strong over the decades. Not to mention put 100% Canadian owned businesses under.
For the record, i don't have a Costco card, never have and never will in spite of whats happening.. I never shop on Amazon/Wayfair..never have, never will. Who can match my shopping and vacation habits? Similkameens it is buttees. And some of you mock me..while you travel to the USA and pump money to MAGA??

Boycott all USA businesses. Make them suffer and pull out of Canada. The USA supports their own..have been doing it for decades. Canadians should show the same patriotism back..make Canada strong.

Patriotic? Nah. Why worry about politics then? :wtf:

Justifying genocide is just sad and unfortunate? Guess we all learn something new everyday! I suppose 20,000 dead children were all human shields, right? Using children as human shields is a laughable statement and a talking point that's been repeated to death for decades now; it's absolute drivel that justifies the massacres that have taken place on near daily basis for over one year. That's what's really sad and unfortunate about this situation.

Before there are any accusations thrown my way (which there always are when one is attempting to have a discussion on this topic) of course Hamas are terrorists -- that's an undeniable fact. There are murderers filled to the brim within their ranks. Ultimately, the group should have never existed in the first place.

Interestingly, some support and funding for Hamas for years, with the specific goal of preventing Palestinian statehood, rests on the shoulders of Bibi and his government entourage -- another undeniable fact.

Here we are now, sadly, with nearly two thousand Israelis murdered in one Hamas attack, and nearly 50,000 Palestinans murdered after countless IDF attacks.

Where does it end? No one knows. Anyone who claims to know is kidding themselves. How and when did the conflict start? There are too many answers to that question to even begin a debate, and that can come from every side and angle of wherever one may see through the lens of their perspectives or biases.

A scene from the movie "Munich" (a great and must-watch movie, IMO) that accurately describes the situation from the perspective of both main protagonists in this conflict: https://youtu.be/YoAV0xF7A2U?si=u98TgITyoisATOI1

You are pushing antisemitic Tucker Carlson/Darryl Cooper propaganda. Tucker's interview with the supposed historian Darryl Cooper has been thoroughly debunked. No time in the history of the world has urban warfare killed so few people as Israel. No one has ever been more careful not to kill civilians. And yet, because it's the Joooz, people like Tucker get all upset. Double standard to the max because F*** the Jews. Sorry man, I don't like antisemitism at all. It's gross and justifies rape and murder. Oct 7th. meh. 70 Christians beheaded in the DRC. meh. 200 Africans captured as sex slaves in Nigaria. Meh. But Israel fighting for her life against a death cult that hates Jews as much as Hitler, and that's the real genocide because f** the Jews. Only Jews aren't allowed to defend themselves according to Tucker Carlson and other Putin stooges. Worse, defending oneself is called genocide.

If Trump sent up a 10,000 fighters into the Lower Mainland and they raped your wife and children, and we bombed the hell out of Seattle as they hid behind children while continuing to send rockets into Vancouver, would you call that genocide?

This is not what genocide looks like...
