Yessss buttee

I love cold troffy instability like Catnip. It's the best. Some major snow dumps can occur in powerful convective streamers. :thanks: :thanks:
:snowman:
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

That would be a rare event. I can't ever remember seeing a thunderstorm in February. It's usually one of the most stable months of the year. In general, the period of Nov-Feb doesn't see very many thunderstorms.

5-7cm. Its a crapshoot though. If moisture gets delayed or is too light by early afternoon....then probably a repeat of what we saw last time.

Tomorrow has high bust potential. But it could also deliver the forecasted amounts of snow. Essentially, as you just said, the timing of the moisture and cold needs to be perfect. If the moisture is delayed or lacks intensity, then just another slushy fest.

Does anyone have statistics on that? Both when a warning fails and when they don't get the warning up before it snows.

Hound, master of the smilies, do you have a Game Over one?
I'm not sure, but if anyone finds one, post it and I'll add it. I've seen one holding a sign before.
