Depends on your longitude. But yes, at the Vernon weather station in Coldstream (482m) it was all wet heavy snow. At Okanagan lake level (350m) it was about 50-50. But travel 10 km east of the weather station and the snow level suddenly rose to 700m such that Lumby and Cherryville only had rain! This is the first time ever that Ive seen Vernon (390m elevation) with snow and Lumby (500m elevation) with rain. Often Lumby will get 10 cm and Vernon just rain because it's lower and has moderation from Okanagan lake, so this reverse event was really quite unique!

Heading up to Three Hills Alberta area this weekend. Stayed overnight in Golden and woke up to a dusting of snow this morning. Variable amounts of on the mountain passes. Getting a bit of blowing snow from the road right now. Currently between Golden and Lake Louise.
