Nice scores Mr.G we racked up 11.4mm @ the pond in south Sardis, we have some clear Breaks ATM.

I think with the variability this summer, it has just had a completely different feel this year.

Any correlation going forward for winter?

Models have been consistent in saying there should be a good chance to score more in showers (and maybe thundershowers) this afternoon/evening. (The midday pause we are now seeing has also been a consistent feature in the models.)

Oh good, I thought EC had it tapering off and clearing but now we've got an 80% chance of showers, heavy at times and risk of thunderstorm, could be an interesting evening!

Appears Powell River got hammered and there's some cells in north Coquitlam.

I see on the radar a lone cell just passed over Earl’s Cove, but looks like the modelled evening showers might be a no-show for Metro Vancouver.

It was pretty humid out this afternoon once the rain passed. Warm and juicy. Could see some #surprises overnight.

Not much in the central valley desert this evening as well. We reached a high of 22.4c after this morning's rainfall not bad considering it is early August still.
