There was a small earthquake in Maple Ridge last night. Also, the air quality yesterday in Chilliwack was much better.

⚠️ Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning on Sep 9 for BC083410.

At 3:38 p.m. PDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain.

The severe thunderstorm is located 35 km south of Princeton and is nearly stationary. It will impact areas of Highway 3 near Eastgate of Manning Park for the next 30 minutes.

Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.

Road conditions are available at https://www.drivebc.ca/.

I see that.... sucks, because I'm just crossing the border now to go south. Finally a chance for thunderstorm in the wack and I'm gone.....grrrr!
