For once this area seems to be on the lower side of the rainfall totals.

I clicked a spot in Northern BC on Christmas Day, temperature is off the charts!

The wavy red line is the temperature with increasing height (850mb is 1500m elevation). The wavy green line is dew point with increased height. The point I selected is -52F at ground level which is colder than the chart which goes from -40c to +50c.

Highway 7 closed both directions @ the scale near Hope due to rock slide, exit to Bridal fall's is closed due to flooding and some submerged vehicles. :o
