I like how the GFS continues to trend cooler and wetter next week. Lots of showers but with a 900m freezing level. Could see a 50-70cm base by the following weekend.

Next Tuesday looks very snowy for the local mountains. Finally seeing average freezing levels for this time of year.

Stationary low off Haida Gwaii with cold air wrapping around. Very gradual cool down at the surface but endless snows for the alpine areas. Shortwave finally plows through at day 10. The pattern would deliver 100-150cm of snow up on the local hills. :hearteyes:

Progression on 00z appears to show multiple cool systems sliding through the area with temps cooling a bit behind each one.

As mentioned, great for the mountains.

Still running but I think this will be the system that could deliver some snow to our area. Lots of cold air in behind that one.

Of course this is still way out there... but I like how it unfolds.
