FWIW, 18z is running a bit colder in the interior than the 12z towards the end of the week.

As Storm mentioned, some snow chances starting Friday evening.

I think this should be a colder run at least as we look towards the following weekend.

Bit better 500mb pattern.

Yeah. Looks like a snowy weekend coming up. Also 18z ICON has very low snow levels mid week and looks much better by hour 120

At least there were a few positive changes on the 18z in the closer time frame. After next weekend.. who knows.

Previous runs had had that low pressure forming off the coast that ended up pumping a ridge over us. 18z may go a different route... but it is :14clown: range for now...

That has been a fairly consistent feature for a bit now. Would be nice to see. That is some pretty heavy snow fall.

Any improvement today? How long does it take for a flood to drain usually?

Heard the flood waters have receded a bit today, but I suspect things could take a bad turn again with more rain coming tomorrow, followed by a significant AR on Monday with 100mm possible. Freezing levels will be over 2,500m with that so the runoff along the coastal mountains locally and the north cascades to the south will be bad.
