Shame about the lack of sunshine today. Precip on radar is either virga or exaggerated returns. I continue to see no precip falling.

From Google AI
The sun and moon symbolize cosmic duality, balance, and interconnected opposites—the sun representing masculine energy, power, consciousness, day, and action, while the moon embodies feminine energy, intuition, mystery, night, and rest, much like the Yin and Yang concept, showing how light needs darkness and activity needs rest to create a complete whole, common in mythology, art, and astrology.

You can also see here the temperatures departures that even for example in the 60s there were warm temperatures during La NIna https://www.climate.gov/media/8905
By the 60’s we were well into the era of agw. However we were still at a level where a 1969 or 1964 could be expected every few years. Now we’re accelerating so fast that it’s unclear what a good winter would be now. I was stoked about that last series of La Nina’s (21-23) but they wouldn’t be pretty mid winters back in the day.

In recent years, the PNW has done really well in the cold and snow department with a -NAO pattern. There's still hope but I remain skeptical.

The 12Z Euro would be an absolute disaster for Whatcom and the Fraser Valley in the clown range. Shows 200.2cm of snow at Mount Baker followed by 176.2mm of rain. Heavy rainfall for the lower elevations as well as the AR once again bypasses the regions typical rain shadow. Yikes! :silent: :x

Thankfully, AR's can shift in direction and intensity very quick and we are looking just over 10 days out. But models continue to show an AR pattern.
