UHI plays a huge role! Going through the data, it seems like Tmins in the summertime have been significantly affected. Take a look at a record warm summer month like July 1958 at YXX and compare it to an average summer month now, and the mins are much warmer.

Yeah. Pretty convinced the “warm blob” so to speak, has a legitimate impact.

This one was really close for the metro area. If the moisture had lasted a little longer, or the cold air gotten here a little sooner, we would have seen something. The snow got as far west as Chilliwack.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Not looking at any models. Will wait to be pleasantly surprised or expectedly disappointed.
You can see how it keeps disintegrating before it gets to approximately where Lund is. Not happening.

I’ve noticed since moving to the farm area in Abby that temps are cooler up to 2 degrees and more when the sun is out and there isn’t much wind. More noticeable too at night. However when there is wind it is much less noticeable and once rain hits the temps do moderate and I don’t recall seeing it more than a half degree cooler. Usually during precip it is the same to about 0.3 degrees cooler away from the city.

Yeah, I was so looking forward to my new elevation at above 500 ft, but it's been very underwhelming.

Looks like we'll be stuck with these mid and high level clouds until after 10pm. Dewpoints have dropped with that trickle of modified arctic air from the east so tonight could easily be colder than last night if skies clear for a while.
